|Description:Star-nosed Moles live in the eastern part of North America in wet habitats. They have a hairless nose which is surrounded by 22 pink, fleshy tentacles, (hence, the name: star-nosed). These tentacles protects the nose when they dig soil tunnels to forage.
|Description:Golden hamsters have relatively huge ears, tiny eyes and short tail compared to the common hamsters. Their fur is golden-brown on top which pales to gray and white down the lower area. They communicate by scent trails and show aggression through teeth chattering. They are also regarded as agricultural pests in the wild.
